Maximising Sponsorship With The Mirror
As The Mirror’s choice agency, EdenCancan plays an integral role in delivering the newspaper’s consumer and corporate facing sponsorship activity at key national events, having supported the brand at the likes of The Grand National, The Great North Run and around The World Cup.
Most recently, EdenCancan managed all Mirror sponsorship on site at Aintree racecourse, ensuring the brand gained widespread exposure throughout The Grand National weekend. This included using promotional staff in custom made newspaper dresses to capture Ladies Day ‘street style’ coverage, our very own ‘Bucking Horse’ challenge that invited social media engagement via a designated hashtag, and even a giant conga to get guests in the race day spirit!
The activity was complemented with substantial media support, with coverage seen on ITN Granada, ITV.com, Mail Online, Telegraph.co.uk alongside print coverage within the Daily Express, Liverpool Echo, Metro and of course The Mirror.
In addition, EdenCancan work with the national title to generate discussion around newsworthy political and sporting moments throughout the year, creating stunts to drive awareness for the paper’s #MadeUThink campaign.
