Getting The Nation To WALK IT!
EdenCancan worked with the charity Crohn’s & Colitis UK to collate their existing fundraising walks programmes, and rebrand as one united identity – WALK IT!
This involved expanding the walks portfolio to deliver six events across the UK throughout Spring/Summer 2016. A toolkit was created to ensure a clear brand identity could be seen across all walks, meaning that no matter where consumers chose to join in, they knew they were united as one under the WALK IT banner.
To support the walk, EdenCancan organised a celebrity photoshoot featuring Sam Faiers and Rylan Clark-Neal. The images from which were used to publicise the kick off of WALK IT, securing widespread coverage, whilst driving a wealth of discussion across social media. In addition, case studies of walkers and their personal experience with the charity were used to elevate coverage on a regional level. In total, the press secured had a value of over £1 million!
Over 3,500 walkers took part in WALK IT, a dramatic year on year increase, with more money than ever fundraised.
